A faith that can only exist in the light of victory and certainty is one which really affirms the self while pretending to affirm Christ, for it only follows Jesus in the belief that Jesus has conquered death. Yet a faith that can look at the horror of the cross and still say ‘yes’ is one that says ‘no’ to the self in saying ‘yes’ to Christ. Peter Rollins
About This Quote

Faith is a very important part of any person’s life. Without faith, you will not be able to give anything meaning. However, faith is a very fragile thing and can easily be shaken. I believe this quote is a great summary of the difference between faith and religion.

Faith is a leap of faith and a leap of faith can only be made with real evidence. You have to have some kind of proof that your faith is valid and that it is not just a matter of blind faith. Religion, on the other hand, is based on blind faith.

Religion does not care if you have evidence that your faith is true or not. Religion just tells you to have faith in it and there is no real need for evidence.
